As a native of St. Petersburg and a graduate of Seminole High School in 1991, Dr. Brian Moss joined Bay Area Heart Center in 2008. After 17 years of schooling and training in various regions of the United States, Dr. Moss returned to St. Petersburg, bringing his knowledge and experience back to the Pinellas County area.
Dr. Moss completed his undergraduate work at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and then earned his medical degree at Des Moines University in Iowa, graduating in 2001. He remained in the Midwest for postgraduate training as an intern at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Moss moved on to the East Coast to complete his internal medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University. Following his residency, Dr. Moss returned to the Midwest for his cardiology fellowship in Chicago, where he received extensive clinical cardiology training in addition to multi-modality imaging training.
Dr. Moss is currently the Director of the Echocardiography Department at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
