Dr. Codolosa was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He obtained his medical degree after seven years of training at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He then pursued a four year Internal Medicine residency in the prestigious “Instituto de Investigaciones Medicas Alfredo Lanari”.
After completing his studies, he moved to Philadelphia, PA and completed three years of Internal Medicine residency, followed by a year as a Chief Medical Resident at Einstein Medical Center. He worked as a Hospitalist for a year and then pursued a three year Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. In his last year of training, he was named the Chief Cardiology Fellow.
Dr. Codolosa is Board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Codolosa’s main interests are imaging in valvular heart disease and transesophageal echocardiography.
Dr. Codolosa has received an award for “Best Lectures” from LMC residents the last 2 years.
Dr. Codolosa is fluent in Spanish.
